This section of the database contains data on births and deaths as reported for Registration sub-Districts, Registration Districts and aggregates thereof. After 1911, similar data were generally reported for local government districts. All data held here were computed from information recorded through registrations of births and deaths, but which variables were included in each tabulation varied. The most complete set of variables were included in the Decennial Supplements: cause of death by age by gender; but only for ten year periods.
