Exeter St Paul parish and Bradninch Precinct, both within Exeter Borough, are recorded as separate entities in Youngs, in the 1811 Census and from the 1841 Census onwards. In the 1821 and 1831 Census they are recorded together as a single unit and in 1801 Bradninch is not mentioned.
