HORTON, a hamlet and a township in Beckley parish, Oxfordshire. The hamlet lies 6 miles NE of Oxford. The township includes also the hamlet of Studley, ½ a mile to the ENE; and bears the name of Horton-cum-Studley. Acres, 2, 460. Real property, £1, 848. Pop., 420. Houses, 92.
