TyGwyn-ar-Tav, or the White House of Howel Dha, stood near the monastery's site; consisted of withy rods; and was the place where Howel Dha's 13 wise men, in 926, composed the laws of Wales. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St. David's. Value, £86. Patron, the Bishop of St. David's. The church is dedicated to St. Canna, and is tolerable.
