BRACON-ASH, a parish in Henstead district, Norfolk; 2¼ miles WSW of Swainsthorpe r. station, and 7 S W of Norwich. It has a post office under Norwich. Acres, 974. Real property, £1,895. Pop., 271. Houses, 43. The property is divided among ten. Bracon Hall is the seat of the Rev. T. Berney. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Norwich. Value, £245. Patron, the Rev. T. Berney. The church is very good; and there is a national school.
