The village comprises 43 houses, and is a constabulary police station; fairs are held in it on May 1st, June 24th, Sept. ...

The tithes amount to £98. 16. 2 ¼., of which £65. 17. 5 ½. is payable to the impropriator, and the remainder to the vicar. In the R. C. divisions it is part of the union or district of Blessington.
