Blairgowrie, par. and town, NE. Perthshire, on river Ericht, at terminus of ry., 5 miles NW. of Coupar-Angus by rail, and 458 miles from London; 15,303 ac., pop. 5162; town, pop. 4537; 4 Banks, 1 newspaper; flax spinning is the staple industry of the town. Blairgowrie House is in the vicinity.
