In 1887, John Bartholomew's Gazetteer of the British Isles described Bellie like this:

Bellie, par., Elginshire and Banffshire, 13,212 ac., pop. 2365; contains Fochabers town.

The location is that of Bellie church, and "Bellie Hill" is marked very slightly to the south-east on the modern 1:25,000 map.
