SANDALL (Kirk), a parish, with two hamlets, in Doncaster district, W. R. Yorkshire; on the river Don, the Keadby canal, and the South Yorkshire railway, 1¼mile S of Barnby-Dun r. station, and 4¼ N E by N of Doncaster. Post-town, Doncaster. Acres, 990. Real property, £2, 716. Pop., 233. Houses, 39. Sandall Grove and Streetthorpe House are chief residences. The living is a rectory in the diocese of York. Value, £393.* Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church is good. There are an endowed school with £72 a year, and charities, £62.
