OSMONDTHORPE, a hamlet in Templenewsam township, Whitkirk parish, W. R. Yorkshire; 3½ miles S E of Leeds. Pop., 270. Osmondthorpe Hall is the seat of J. Robinson, Esq. Coal is worked; and many antiquities have been found.
