NODDFA, a township in Darowen parish, Montgomery; 6 miles N E of Machynlleth. It contains the parish church, which had the privilege of sanctuary. called in the Welsh, "noddva." Real property, £2,080. Pop.in 1851, 533; in 1861, 680. Houses, 127. The increase of pop. arose from extension of mining operations.
