Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for SARN-Y-BWLCH, or the Bucks' Road

SARN-Y-BWLCH, or the Bucks' Road, a shoal orcauseway in Cardigan bay; running out 3 miles west-South-westward from the shore of the S of Merioneth, at a point near Towyn. It is left dry, for about a mile, atebb tide; is flanked at the seaward extremity, by depths of about 6 fathoms water; and, like Sarn-Badrig and Sarn-Gynfelyn, is supposed to be a remnant of the sub-merged Cantref-Gwaelod.
