Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Cameron Bridge

Cameron Bridge, a hamlet in Markinch parish, Fife, on the river Leven, and on the East of Fife railway, adjacent to Windygates village, 2 miles W by S of Leven. It has a station on the railway, and a very large distillery; of the bridge that gave it its name an old rhyme says- ' Lochtie, Lothrie. Leven, and Ore Rin a' through Cameron Brig bore.'
