Borrolan, a shallow, weedy loch on the mutual border of Sutherland and W Ross-shire, close to Altnakealgach Inn, in Assynt parish, 26 miles W of Lairg. Measuring 1 by 1/3 mile, it teems with trout and char, 200 of the former having been taken by one rod in a single day.
