BRAMWITH (Kirk), a parish in Doncaster district, W. R. Yorkshire; on the Stainforth and Keadby canal, and on the Doncaster and Keadby railway, 6¾ miles NE by N of Doncaster. It has a station, of the name of Bramwith, on the railway; it includes the hamlets of Braithwaite and Hawkhouse-Green, and part of the hamlet of Kirkhouse-Green; and its Post Town is Stainforth, under Rotherham.
