BROADLANDS, the seat of Viscount Palmerston in Hants; on the river Anton, 1 mile S of Romsey. The house is of white brick, with stone dressings; was designed by "Capability Brown," and contains a good collection of pictures and some antique statuary. The park is small and has little variety.
