CEIRIOG (The), a river of Denbigh and Salop. It rises under Cader-Ferwyn, in Denbigh; and runs 18 miles, in great curves, prevailingly eastward, past Glynn and Chirk, to the river Dee, 3 miles NE of Chirk.
