Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for DANGANDARGAN

DANGANDARGAN, a parish, in the barony of CLANWILLIAM, county of TIPPERARY, and province of MUNSTER, 2 ½ miles (S. W.) from Cashel, on the road from Golden to Clonmel; containing 323 inhabitants, and comprising 1077 statute acres, as applotted under the tithe act. it is a rectory, in the diocese of Cashel, and forms part of the union of Athassel and Relickmurry: the tithes amount to £105. In the R. C. divisions it is part of the union or district of Golden.
