Toward Point, headland, at north side of entrance of Kyles of Bute, Dunoon and Kilmun par., Argyllshire, 3½ miles NE. of Rothesay; P.O., and P.O., T.O. at Toward, near Castle Toward, 2 miles W.; on the point is a lighthouse 63 ft. high, with flashing light (Toward) 70 ft. above high water and seen 14 miles; near the lighthouse is a steamboat pier.
