Studland, par. and vil., Isle of Purbeck, Dorset - par., 4804 ac. land and 3010 water, pop. 607; vil., at S. extremity of Studland Bay, 5 miles E. of Corfe Castle; the bay is on the E. side of Isle of Purbeck, between Poole Harbour and Swanage Bay, is 2½ miles wide, and penetrates 1 mile; near the vil. is Studland House, seat.
