Pencaitland, par. and vil., W. Haddingtonshire - par., 5075 ac., pop. 1107; vil., on river Tyne (which divides it into Easter and Wester Pencaitland), 1½ mile SE. of Winton ry. sta. and 5½ miles SW. of Haddington; P.O.; has an interesting old church and an ancient market cross.
