Kilkee, watering-place, Kilfearagh par., SW. co. Clare, on Moore Bay, 8 miles NW. of Kilrush and 61 miles W. of Limerick, pop. 1652; P.O., T.O.; has fine sands, and in the vicinity are chalybeate spas. Kilkee is one of the principal places for the collection of Irish moss, which is largely used for chemical purposes.
