Arranmore, or North Arran, island (4 miles by 3 miles), Templecrone par., W. co. Donegal, area, 4350 ac., pop. 1163; P.O. The surface is hilly, greatest alt. 745 ft. The inhabitants are chiefly employed in fishing.
