Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Yspytty Cynfyn

Yspytty Cynfyn, eccl. dist., Llanbadarnfawr par., Cardiganshire, on river Rheiclol, at Parson's Bridge, 10½ miles E. of Aberystwith, pop. 1238; a hospitium was here, and in the churchyard are several erect stones, believed to have formed part of a Druidical circle.
