Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Sudeley Manor

Sudeley Manor, par., Gloucestershire, 2622 ac., pop. 100; gives title to Lord Sudeley; the seat of Sudeley Castle, 7 miles NE. of Cheltenham, was built in the time of Henry VI., was taken and dismantled by the Parliamentary army during the great Civil War, and is now partly renovated.
