Stronvar, a mansion in Balquhidder parish, Perthshire, near the southern shore and the- foot of Loch Voil, 5½ miles SW of Lochearnhead. It is a Scottish Baronial edifice, built in 1850 from designs by the late David Bryce, R.S.A. Its owner, David Carnegie, Esq. (b. 1813), holds 22, 205 acres in the shire, valued at £3558 per annum.Ord. Sur., sh. 46, 1872.
