Leochel Burn, a troutful rivulet of central Aberdeenshire, rising as Corse Burn in the N of Coull parish at an altitude of 970 feet above sea-level, and winding 9¾ miles north-by-eastward through or along the borders of Leochel, Tough, and Alford parishes, till, after a descent of 510 feet, it falls into the Don, ½ mile above Alford bridge.Ord.
