Kirkstead Burn, a troutful stream of Yarrow parish, Selkirkshire, rising on the eastern slope of Black Law at an altitude of 1980 feet, and running 41/8 miles south-eastward till, after a descent of 1170 feet, it falls into the foot of St Mary's Loch.Ord. Sur., shs. 24, 16, 1864.
